Remote Support Portal

Many fixes don’t need a drop-off. Follow these four steps and Joe can securely connect to your computer while you watch every move on your own screen.

1

Download the Quick Support file

One click, straight from this site — it’s the official open-source RustDesk tool, and nothing gets installed on your computer. You run it, we help you, you close it.

The Mac button is for Apple Silicon Macs (2020 and newer) — older Intel Mac? Use this Intel download instead. Never download remote tools from ads or search results — only from here or rustdesk.com.

2

Run it — no install needed

Double-click the file you downloaded. If Windows shows a blue “SmartScreen” warning, click More info → Run anyway — that’s normal for a fresh download.

It opens straight to a window showing “Your Desktop” with an ID number and a One-time Password. That’s it — skip any “Install” button you see; it works fine without installing, and when you close it, it’s gone.

3

Give Joe your ID & password — the safe way

Call or text Joe directly with the 9-digit ID and the one-time password shown in RustDesk. Don’t email them, and don’t give them to anyone who called you — Joe never cold-calls.

The password is single-use: it expires when the session ends, so nobody can reconnect later without a new one from you.

During the session

You’ll see everything Joe does, live, on your own screen — feel free to ask questions in the chat box. You can end the session at any moment by closing RustDesk.
